If you’re suddenly out, someone can hold the fort.
Fortholder is the continuity file for a one-person business: where your payment accounts, hosting, domains, clients and tax dates are, and who can reach each one. Never the passwords. If you stop answering its check-ins, a stand-in you chose gets only the business sections; your family gets the rest after a longer wait. A Personal plan covers the household alone. In development; you can reserve the price now, with no payment.
The conversation you keep putting off, written down once.
A private vault
Where the accounts are, which policies exist, how to reach a crypto wallet, and a letter in your own words. Locked while you’re fine.
A gentle check-in
A regular “are you there?” message. Miss one and you get reminders first — nothing opens by accident.
Delivered to who you choose
If you stop answering, the vault goes to the people you named — a spouse, a partner, a sibling, a friend.
If you’re the whole company and you’re out for three weeks, what breaks first?
A continuity runbook
Payment accounts, hosting, domains, clients and tax dates: where each one is and who can reach it. Never the passwords themselves.
A stand-in first, family later
If you stop answering, only the business sections go to someone you trust, so customers are still served. Everything else waits longer and goes to your family.
Renewal warnings
A heads-up when a domain in your runbook is close to expiring or a section hasn’t been checked in a while.
Three steps
Fill in what matters
Start with a short list. You can add to it any time.
Choose who receives what
Name one or more people, how to reach them, and which sections each one gets.
Answer the check-ins
One tap is enough. Set how often, and how long before it opens.

Is this a will?
No. Fortholder tells your people where things are. It does not replace a will or legal estate documents.
What does the Business plan add?
A runbook for a one-person company (payment accounts, hosting, domains, clients and tax dates) and a stand-in: someone who gets only the business sections if you stop answering, so customers are still served. Your family gets everything later, after a longer wait.
Can a stand-in see my personal accounts?
No. You choose which sections each person receives. A stand-in gets only what you give them.
What if I just miss a check-in?
You get reminders first. Nothing opens until the whole waiting period has passed.
Should I store passwords in it?
No. Store where things are and how to reach your password manager, not the passwords themselves. Never store a crypto recovery (seed) phrase or private key in any online service. For accounts that have their own legacy settings, such as Google Inactive Account Manager or Apple Legacy Contact, set those up too.
Who is behind it?
CodeYaz, a small software company registered in the Netherlands (KVK 42023276).
